Amber Woods is the owner and operator of Prosper Horsemanship LLC. in Rutledge, Georgia. Prosper Horsemanship is founded on the belief that the strongest horse-and-rider partnerships are built on trust, communication, and mutual understanding. Passionate about helping riders of all levels grow in their confidence and skill, Amber is dedicated to guiding both horse and rider toward their full potential. Amber also emphasizes the importance of natural therapies, integrating bodywork and massage to enhance equine wellness, prevent injuries, and improve mobility and overall function.
Training sessions are tailored to each horse’s individual needs and may include groundwork, trailer loading, desensitization, and riding. Owners are encouraged to observe, allowing them to gain insight into the training process and techniques used. This method ensures the horse stays focused on the trainer, without any unnecessary distractions enabling better progress. By observing, owners also become familiar with Amber Woods' approach and can later apply these methods through hands-on instruction during lessons.
Equine bodywork includes therapies like massage to improve flexibility, muscle health, and fascia elasticity, while preventing injuries. It boosts circulation, reduces muscle tension, enhances joint flexibility, speeds recovery, and promotes emotional well-being.
Enhanced Circulation: Massage promotes better blood flow and oxygen delivery to muscles, supporting overall health and performance.
Pain and Tension Relief: Targeted bodywork alleviates muscle stiffness and discomfort, improving comfort and mobility.
Increased Joint Flexibility: Specialized techniques enhance range of motion, allowing for greater ease of movement.
Accelerated Recovery: Bodywork supports faster healing after competition or injury, helping horses return to peak condition more quickly.
No matter your experience level—whether you're a beginner just starting out, or an advanced rider looking to refine your technique—Amber is committed to helping you grow and succeed. Through personalized instruction tailored to your specific goals, she provides guidance that builds confidence, enhances riding skills, and fosters a deeper understanding of horse behavior and communication. With a focus on both rider development and equine well-being, Amber creates a supportive learning environment where you can strengthen your abilities and become a better rider.

Amber Woods, owner and operator of Prosper Horsemanship LLC. in Rutledge, Georgia, has spent over a decade developing her expertise in the equine world. Beginning her riding journey at the age of six, she trained and competed in hunter/jumper and eventing disciplines before shifting her focus to Natural Horsemanship and Equine Therapy. Amber spent over 2 years working at a training facility learning and applying Natural Horsemanship along with incorporating bodywork therapy into every individual horse's training. This allowed her to have a more therapeutic approach with her training, creating a unique emphasis on both physical and mental well-being that is often lacking in traditional training programs.
As a member of a professional mounted drill team, Amber has refined her skills in precision, timing, and teamwork while performing in events nationwide. Her extensive experience in owning, training, and starting horses has given her a deep understanding of equine behavior, which she incorporates into her program.
Amber is also a Level 2 NFC™ (Neuro Fascial Conditioning) and REST™ (Rib Entrapment Syndrome Therapy) certified practitioner through the Zenma Equine Wellness Institute. By combining specialized bodywork techniques with in hand groundwork, she offers a comprehensive approach that enhances mobility, prevents injuries, and optimizes performance, helping each horse reach its full potential.
